This had to be one of the best books I have read in a long time. I made the mistake of starting it before bed and I could not put it down until I had finished. The author was knowledgeable about the noaa that's honestly expected to read in her bio that she used to work with them however she must have really done her homework well. I also liked how the characters actually portrayed good Christian values where in other contemporary Christian books often times the characters would be out drinking with friends or thing a of that sort but in this book the hero refused to drink when offered wine. I also really loved the heroine stayed true to a vow she made at 10 when most people wouldn't have.Product details

I enjoyed this story so much that I read it in one sitting. It's a delightful story about Lex and Lana, a boy and girl who loved each other when they were young but then lost touch when Lex moved. Lana never let go of the commitment they made to each other as children, never dating anyone and remaining true to Lex.
On a field trip as a junior in high school, Lana was introduced to a pilot who was a hurricane hunter for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. She was fascinated with the thrill of hunting hurricanes and decided she wanted to be a flight director for the NOAA. Hurricane hunting plays a big part of the story, and the author has done an excellent job portraying how an airplane can fly into the middle of a hurricane.
Lex and Lana meet again, but Lex is engaged to someone else and Lana doesn't want to interfere. Is the love they felt as children strong enough to bring them back together again as adults?
This is a clean, romantic Christian story with the excitement of hurricane hunting added to it. It is well worth reading.
